Miriam Chung

MHC-LP

Miriam is a warm and compassionate therapist who works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, trauma, life transitions, and questions around identity and spirituality.

Miriam earned both her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and M.A. in Theology and Ministry from Boston College. As a Korean American clinician, she brings a thoughtful understanding of second-generation immigrant experiences and enjoys working with clients from diverse cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds.

Her approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, relational, and humanistic therapy. Miriam helps clients better understand how their relationships, past experiences, culture, and emotions may be influencing how they feel today. She creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, develop healthier patterns, and feel more confident and connected to themselves.

For clients who are interested, Miriam also welcomes the opportunity to thoughtfully explore spirituality, personal beliefs, and values as part of the therapeutic process.
