Erin Gordon
MHC-LP
Erin earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia. She works with teens and adults navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Erin is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop self-compassion, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves as they move through life’s challenges.
Erin believes that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. She strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to show up authentically and explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they move toward healing, greater self-understanding, and a life that feels more connected and aligned with who they are.
Erin takes an integrative approach to therapy, blending psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), recognizing that healing involves both the mind and body, and that some experiences cannot always be expressed through words alone. Whether you’re processing the past or navigating challenges in the present, Erin’s goal is for you to feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.
