"With the therapeutic relationship as a foundation, I approach my clients' experiences, patterns, and emotions with curiosity and empathy. I feel that through examining aspects of my clients' lives in new ways, we can use new understanding to uncover what was keeping them stuck and over time lift the barriers to living a more authentic life."- Daniela Peraino

Daniela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College. Daniela Nazarian works from a psychodynamic framework but may incorporate techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when appropriate. She sees clients looking to work through concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, and life transitions and adjustment issues.

Daniela believes that through psychotherapy, we can learn how to better approach life’s ups and downs and understand ourselves, our patterns, and our emotions. Although therapy can be a daunting journey to embark on, she will be there to walk the journey of self-awareness and self-acceptance with you.

“It is common to feel at times that we are stuck, feeling unhappy, having trouble making decisions, or that we just can’t understand why patterns in our lives keep repeating themselves. I establish a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients so they can genuinely engage themselves in therapy. I help clients gain insight into their symptoms and patterns, and uncover what is getting in the way of leading an authentic and fulfilling life.”
