Julie earned her Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland. Julie has over four years of experience treating mood, anxiety, behavioral, trauma and adjustment disorders.

Julie's therapeutic style is cognitive behavioral and person-centered oriented. She empowers her clients to manage their symptoms and assists in helping them gain insight on which factors could be positively or negatively affecting their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Julie and her clients explore areas that have been supported to promote  wellbeing such as the presence of positive emotions, community engagement, interpersonal relationships, sense of meaning/purpose, and accomplishments. Together, she and her clients assess and discuss how they can create space for these factors in their lives. Focusing on achieving and maintaining wellness allows Julie to provide her clients with preventative care and improve their autonomy and health outside of session.
